Monthly Themes

Here are the 2015 storytime and lapsit themes at the Hamby-Burns Library! Each month we will decorate the children’s floor, located on the first floor, to match the month’s theme. Books related to each month’s theme will be on display all around the children’s library. Visit the display board at the main library’s front entrance to see fun and creative displays that showcase the theme. The display board located by the entrance to the children’s floor will provide pictures of fiction and non-fiction book recommendations that go with each month’s theme.

We love to craft and decorate to each theme at the Hamby-Burns Library! So each month expect the children’s library to undergo a magical transformation as we decorate display boards, bookcases, the circulation desk and even the walls!
