July: Lego Creation Station

What are Legos doing in your library? According to Klebanoff (2009), they help to promote “early literacy development by increasing attention span, memory, creativity, and language and vocabulary skills”, and let’s not get started on the spatial awareness and math skills involved! Come and join us this July as we open up our green room on Saturday, July 16 from 1:30 pm until 5:00 pm for an epic afternoon of creation! There will be prizes for creations held at 4:30 pm.
